Club News, Senior Women (Sirens) | 31st Jul 2019

The Stewartry Sirens Women’s Rugby team are putting on a girls rugby camp on Thursday 15th August and Friday 16th August. This camp will be open to girls of all ages from P1 right up to S6, with age differentiated activities.

Women’s rugby in general is evolving and Scotland women are getting stronger and stronger in international rugby, as the game continues to develop quickly. This camp aims to introduce any new girls to the sport through fun activities and skills sessions, and will also allow those already participating to practice in a fun and friendly environment alongside ladies from the adults section and coaches.

There is an exciting opportunity for a local business to support this camp and sponsor the girls. A £250 sponsorship will help set up and run the camp and provide each girl with a T-shirt to wear during the camp, which will feature your business logo. When we post about the girls camp we will share your business name and social media handles across our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, which have a combined audience of over 2,500 people.
